I've been here for years, love SoL and cgdct shows, and greatly dislike aria. The jokes are stale(you can chalk much of this up to the shows age, though) and the episodic plots about finding some bland character and giving them peace were too predictible and boring. People always harp on about "comfy" like its the second coming of god, but fuck you, you don't get to have shitty jokes and plots and then get a free pass because you have some panning scenery and relaxing music. Just about any healing/""""comfy"""" is better than ARIA. I've only seen half of the first season though, could never stomach the idea of watching more.

Aria is a very slow anime and I can understand why people wouldn't like that honestly. It's a show about nothing happening while a cute girl "hahi"s her way around sci-fi Italy.
