That's because Bakemonogatari was a self-contained story for publishing. Kizumonogatari and the rest were something he planned and wrote for himself, something self-indulgent. He got inspired by how Shinbou the Hack spilled spaghetti on paper and decided to continue writing it. After publishing Kizu it became kind of apparent that Kiss-Shot is more than just a silent loli for Araragi, since it's pretty much a romantic story of sacrifice with a touching vow in the end, but the fan base was already hooked on Hitagi, so Araragi is two-timing to this day.

Anon, Kizu and Nise were published in 2008. The Bake anime aired in 2009. Unless he time traveled, then he published sequels to Bake... bc he wanted to publish sequels to Bake. Which makes perfect sense given how many loose ends and "that's a story for another time" Bake had, with Araragi's vampire powers, Shinobu, Oshino, and Black Hanekawa.
Also, if you actually read the novels, in the afterword of Bake, he talks about how society draws a distinction between a "hobby" and a "job", one is meant to be for personal fun, the other is meant to be for the good of scoiety. But he says that writing Bake was both a hobby he did for fun and a job he got paid for. I think it's safe to say that this mentality covers all of Monogatari.

The whole Ougi vs Gaen overarching story is over, but the "side stories" after it are still plenty important. They expand on and give more development to Math, post-goddess Snake, Tsukihi, Karen and Monkey, they tell Shinobu's backstory and how she became a vampire, they tell how Cat found Oshino, they introduce several major new characters, and they contain a timeskip story which shows what the cast will be doing 5 yeras after Owari.

When the ha symbol is said as wa it is for showing word relationships and subjects. It kind of shows which part of the sentence is important. B wa A.

In the example of the other dude, "Sore wa Watashi'　(それわ私）, Watashi is the more important part of the sentence.
