Show got less interesting after Battle Tendency
Battle Tendency worked well because it was very short so it didn't matter too much that all fights boiled down to Joseph outsmarting them. Joseph's charisma also made him a lot more likeable than Jotaro.
Stardust Crusaders went on for significantly longer, so the fact that every episode is just another stand user is less excusable.
Didn't watch the 4th season but just assumed it would be more of Stardust Crusaders.

There was nothing left to be done with Hamon by the end of part 2. The Pillar Men represented the strongest possible beings that could be harmed by it and by the end Kars had even surpassed that while Joseph's tricky tricks were the furthest it could be taken offensively. 2nd arc is better though

Part 2 is legitimately the only good part, and even then it's really flawed as you have to suspend your disbelief way too much but decide to do so because that particular part is very fun.

The other parts are just fucking dumb, everyone act like aliens. Most of them are literally a bunch of filler until they get to the bad guy. They always start with a good subject matter but fall into just random fights for the sake of it. The redeeming quality about that is that the fights ARE very creative. Araki has a good grasp of horror and suspense, but with the time the structure gets predictable. Also for some reason everyone in the universe sans the protagonists are raging assholes.
For that matter, Araki has no sense of acting. He does those weird poses because he doesn't know anything else, except the cool ones. Sometimes characters are supposed to be looking at their front but their faces are pointing towards their right. It's a mess. Jojo is not bad, but if it wasn't for the brony-tier cult following, it'd be criticized a lot more.

This isn't true. JJBA was never very high ranking in WSJ during any part of its run, it usually ranked around halfway in the magazine. Dragonball, Saint Seiya, Rokudenashi Blues and Slam Dunk consistently ranked higher than it in the late 80s/early 90s, Sakigake Otokojuku nearer to the end of it's run used to always rank higher than it, even fucking shit like Hareluya II Boy ranked higher than JJBA. It stayed alive because it had good tank sales though.

The first "season" which has Parts 1 and 2 are really good, especially if it's the Blu-Ray copy or the dub. Part 3 is milked for every penny it can because it was the most known one, but at the same time they extended it so long that the QUALITY stacked up and it eventually outlasted Part 4, which is longer than it in the manga and the Part 4 anime itself has a lot of QUALITY moments and is pretty mediocre. David kind of made it better near the end, but the damage was already long gone.

If they ever make Part 5 an anime, they'd need to know their grounds and priorities.

I really liked the beggining, when the Dio was being a dick to the MC, but after that it became a different thing, and somehow quicly it felt fake and empty.

Part 1 is an introduction and has only 9 episodes. Part 2 is a lot of fun but nothing deeper than that. It becomes amazing at part 4 and then only gets better

I think jojo requires watching a decent amount of episodes to really get the picture and what its trying to do. Alot of people don't want to make that commitment.

Araki had no idea what he was doing at the start of part 4 and it's a fact. He at least knew Dio was going to come back and had that idea in mind since Phantom Blood. That means part 3 was somewhat planned from the start.
Parts 1-3 are clearly a trilogy and JoJo was meant to end there, in a way. That's the original story and that's what Araki had planned at first. Not saying that parts 4 onwards shouldn't exist/are shit, but that's the reason why the first half of part 4 feels pointless, like filler. At least the enemies before Kira weren't all villains, which I feel is a huge improvement over part 3.

It has a completely different flow and pacing.
Also, people can't speak about JoJo if they haven't read at least all the first seven parts.

There was this one guy called Chad who used to be best friends with me. Chad was the best, but he was unpopular like me and our little niche tastes made me bond with him. Around 5 years ago suddenly he became really popular and as time went on we grew apart. Without realizing, everyone else I knew started to love Chad and have fun with him, which made me really uncomfortable so I started to hate him, no matter how good of a person he is. Jojo reminds me of Chad and anyone who likes it is objectively wrong and has shit taste.

I thought part 1 was ok and part 2 was great. Joseph was a charismatic protagonist and the secondary cast was interesting. Fights were rarely pure combat affairs and more often relied on Joseph's trickery.
Then part 3 happened and it was all just fight after fight where Jotaro wins by punching the opponent. Jotaro was a boring as shit protagonist, old man Joseph was a completely different character with none of the charm of his part 2 version, and characters kept coming back from the dead to fight again. Kakyoin and Polnareff were the only characters I liked in part 3. Part 4 was slightly more interesting with the stand powers but not by much, and Josuke managed to be even more boring than Jotaro was. The worst part of part 4 was how Kira only lost because of incredibly stupid plot developments, since he obviously had a way overpowered ability that Araki couldn't think of a decent way to defeat.

I really don't understand why part 3 became so popular.
