It feels like introducing new stand abilities has become more important than simply having interesting characters.
And stuff like Dio coming back in Part 3 even though Erina used his coffin to escape or Star Platinum somehow bringing Jotaro stuff into his cell is just annoying.
Or there's no proper villain in Part 4 for the first half. Red Hot Chili Peppers went around and shot people with the arrow for seemingly no reason. And Joseph shows up and is only relevant for like 10 chapters. Why didn't they have him take a picture of Kira.
There's plenty of stuff like that.
I don't even mind "the same type of stand" or general Joseph asspulls. That stuff is enjoyable despite being dumb.
