So what's been happening plot wise? I just stopped following this series after the attack on Sona's school in the Underworld. I do know about ExE though, even if I think that some of the haremettes are unnecessary like Elmhide and Le Fay, and it should've just stuck with the OG ORC+Irina

Trihexa (legendary beast on par with Great Red and Complete Ophis) got unsealed by bad guys and wrecked a load of shit. Everyone ended up fighting it and lots of characters ended up sealing it away along with themselves so they will hardly appear in the rest of the story. Some of these include Sirzechs, Serafall and Azazel.

Issei, now a high class devil, has started proposing to the girls in the group and is also participating in some big rating game tournament where gods etc can fight each other. Winner gets their wish fulfilled.
