No real issue with it in general, the fans can be downright cancerous though so I avoid them most of the time. That said, said there are a few shows that Ive seen where I rock the yuri goggles 100%, Precure and KLK being examples.

As stated on /m/ a couple of times:

I generally believe that either a show should A. take itself 100% seriously, or B.intentionally not take itself seriously to deconstruct a certain topic.

The former can be split into Aa. There's a legitimate explanation for everything, or Ab. The parts that can't be explained to the viewer can't be explained to the characters in-story either.

Since yuri can easily fall into Aa, I tend not to suspend disbelief regarding it.

That doesn't mean Ab and B situations don't exist though, such as with non-human relations and whatnot, at which point I can make a legitimate disconnect.
