Aleister's curse is weird. It's basically ultimate failure in whatever you do, but not individual actions since Aleister still has successes. If it was 100 percent failure he could just abuse the reverse action thing Othinus used and never fail. Instead he has to make a billion plans with wide margins of error to make up for the intermittent failures. She would probably never fail a magic spell, but the second she goes to get her world back, the phase would explode irreparably or something else ridiculous.

Since the thread needs some life I might as well ask now. Aren't Shutaura/Arisa's miracles related to the phase shenanigans Aleister is pissed off about in NT18? What if her miracles are tied to the Aeon of Horus, wouldn't it have been beneficial to capture her just to collect some data? That also makes me wonder if she'll ever make an appearance in the LN. That last test for the game according to the devs went near flawless as far as major issues are concerned but of course there's still minor ones they're going to fix.
They also mention that only my railgun and the opening was a placeholder for some game exclusive content. As well as saying that last test was the "final one" and that next time it'd be an actual beta, but overall the game is stated to be out by next spring
