I wonder if this series will end before or after Nobunaga's death, regardless, Chidori end can't be a happy one, either they end before Honno-ji, and we get a fake happy ending with somber connotations for the future, or they end it afterwards, the title of the series stops making sense and we get a disillusioned main heroine that in the end never stopped the wars in the country.

The historical setting does that all the time. It's always serious depiction of historical events, then a quick joke about how this guy has weird hair or something.
