Hi guys, I have some questions about the series, I know most of /a/ is just shitposting but maybe you guys can help me out.

I was a big fan of the original Naruto series, after Sasuke ended up leaving after the Sound 4 took him and he and Naruto had that big fight in the Valley of the End I mainly stopped paying attention to the rest of the original series because it became a lot worse after that in my opinion. Same deal with Shippuuden, I kept up with it for a while, I'd say a decently long time though I forgot most of it. I know I got past the point where Naruto killed Pain and I remember Jiraya dying, I think I stopped paying attention to that around when Madara killed all those sand ninja with his giant meteor.

How is Boruto? Is it garbage like Dragonball GT or is it worth picking up? I haven't seen any of it, but I was originally disinterested when I checked what interesting new techniques the kids have, but it seems the kids were lazily given the same moves as their parents.

Interestingly enough, Boruto is very different from Naruto, he can't spam shadow clones so he actually has to plan. Sakura should be rich as fuck, she has Tsunade level Medic skill but not her gambling addiction. That alone should mean she's set to be rich. People will always be sick and will need doctors. Sasuke has the entire Uchiha clan fortune and likely has access to hidden caches of supplies the clan has built up over the centuries. And I doubt the village has the authority to take that away anyway, given the deal Itachi made with the Third was for Sasuke to be taken care of.

Plus, the legal system in Konaha seems pretty shitty. Orochimaru got away with pretty much everything, only got a small punishment. If anything Sasuke would have only gotten a fine.

Because a large part of the appeal for Naruto was seeing people do things you've never imagined before. From the very beginning we saw Haku and Zabuza doing things we didn't know were possible, we got to see that ninjas can do more and more things with each new character introduced. Remembering the first time I saw the Shadow Possession Jutsu, or hearing about how the Byakugan worked for the first time was awesome. Or seeing that ninjas like Kiba existed. Part of what was so amazing about the Rasengan and Chidori was that it showed the cast was capable or learning unique new attacks that were completely separate from their original moves. We started off with Naruto's cloning ability and explored it with cool things like the Uzumaki Barrage, using a clone to help him rasengan, etc. Then we see him using the Rasengan, a completely new move in new ways, adding to his arsenal. You'd never know what crazy new move Kakashi would pull out next back when he was basically a god.
