Chris Ayres's Frieza is amazing and you don't have to listen to Granny Goku
everything else is comparable and jap Frieza is really good too, it's nothing like it was back in the day.

The English dub of Super is really good.

The English dub is trying to paint Goku as heroic again, which will really fuck them over by the time they get to the Universal Tournament arc, where Goku's wish for battles rather than considering possible dangers actually drives the plot repeatedly and they can't hide it through dialogue changes.

I'm not talking about Z, I'm talking about Super. Z was shit in general, but the English dubs in particular were atrocious.
Kai also has an excellent English dub.

the voices are totally different from the original Z dubs, it's quite good. I'm not saying it's strictly better than the Japanese. I'm saying they're comparable and it's down to personal preference.

Personally, Chris and Sean push it over for me, I prefer the dub.
