For a design I'm seeing...tuning forks and accordions!

And also elements of Percurio from GaoGaiGar: Final (Mostly the metronome)

So the head is styled after a metronome (Placement of the weight indicates the force of the vibrations), there are two accordion like structures that make up its lower torso and a third acting as a leg connected into the users back.

The arms and shoulders are basically just designed to fire [tuning forks] into surfaces (the forks are part of the Stand, which makes them invisible to people who can't see Stands and the tang of each is fitted with a metronome like the head of the Stand) which it how it affects objects.

As far as Stats go, I'd say [Good Vibrations] has excellent Range, Precision and Destructive Power, average Speed and Durability, and Learning Potential I'm unclear on because as a stat it's a bit ass-backwards.

I came up with a soccer Stand while I was browsing /sp/.

It's a real transformation from Diavolo to Doppio so it's definitely supernatural. I don't think you could call it a split personality because Diavolo can still communicate with Doppio, it's just that Doppio doesn't exist when Diavolo changes into himself. Then there's the other loose ends like him not having a father, and being the only person to use a stand as a reservoir for his soul during Silver Chariot Requiem.

I think he probably had the split between Diavolo/Doppio even before he gained a stand.

I guess in the end this was all the Mystery of King Crimson.

Diavolo was probably inspired by Norman Bates. Meeting and/or hurting his mother was probably the shock and Doppio is a preservation of his innocence.

I'm talking from Giorno's perspective, of course. From what I understood, he saw the mafia as more of a family than he ever had. And when we see Buccellati's gang and even other sections of Passione it's clear that it's true, the kind of resolve everyone shows for each other is kind of amazing. It seems like as long as you don't mess with the mafia they won't mess with you as well. Since that seems how Giorno operates and what he also respected in the mafia, but when their own selfish drive ends up hurting families that have nothing to do with the mafia, just maybe, like Giorno's, that's where he drew the line and knew the Boss had to dissapear. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I always found this aspect of Part 5 pretty fascinating.

I really hated the constant backstories in Parts 5 and 7 how they sort of just cut away to them. They bogged down the story and got pretty boring. It was like reading a Wikipedia page. I wish Araki had the characters explain their backstory to the other characters because they were comfortable enough. It would have deepened the bond between the groups and felt like more of a natural way to lead into their history.

I love Gappy's design, facial expression and the gap is endearing. He also has my favourite covers and (almost)my personal favourite sections of art. (Jolyne currently is my favourite but SO got a huge chunk of illustrations.)

He's not a Jojo but my Husbando feels weird because most of the reasons why I love him and find him fascinating is more or the context of how he came to exist. It makes it difficult though when I saw he's my favourite but then clarify it's not for edgy, design or fight reasons. True, I like his speech and that side of it, but that again is liked to background of how he came to be. I don't care about shipping but just the entire concept of him his curious.

It's autistic as fuck and very little with what's on the page but I love him none the less.

They feel very hamhanded. They were much nicer blended in Part 6 so it's weird that Araki would reverse it in Part 7.
Part 8 has been cool with it though with even the minor characters all being interlinked wit the backstories of others and you feel more a connection. Saying that, with Dolomite's being put in I hope it's not going to go back that hard.

Weather and Pucci had a lot of ultimately unresolved shit going on - Weather's rage and desperate need to kill him hadn't been realized, and Emporio had spent the whole story (understandably) being small, weak, helpless and protected.

Jolyne sacrificing herself to save Emporio, and Emporio helping both her and Weather get post-mortem revenge on Pucci isn't an asspull at all, and makes perfect narrative sense to all but the extremely stupid.

The manga will probably end before the anime catches up, and there's a good chance that 7 and 8 won't be adapted at all considering they're far more detailed, require more effort and are set in an alternate universe anyway. For an idea of how long the series is and how far in the anime is; the series has been running for 30 years, and Parts 1-4 only made up the first 10 of those years. There are 914 chapters currently, and Part 4 ended on chapter 439. Chapter 776 (Part 7 chapter 23) onwards are monthly chapters, so they're far longer than normal but obviously take longer to come out. Part 8 is currently 67 chapters long and is going to be at least 100 chapters long so that's another 3 years away minimum until it's finished, and if they keep up the current pace with the anime we'll get Part 5 in 2018, Part 6 in 2020 and is they DO decide to adapt 7 and 8 it'll be in 2022 at the absolute earliest. So even if Part 8 takes another 5 or 6 years it'll still end before the anime catches up.
