Fans were at least kept updated on Keiji Fujiwara and Hosoya return. With Taneda no one really talked about anything about what she was doing all this time. Her leave being long as is to possibly give birth to a child and how voice actor offices tend to be wry on revealing stuff regarding voice actors makes some people think they just used the throat thing as an excuse for her to go on maternity leave.

For Hosoya? Yes it was obvious he was having throat issues with his coughing and hoarse voice on radio and during events. He prepared for his haitus by recording for most of his roles ahead. Fujiwara had a stroke that's why all his current roles were taken over by other VAs immediately.
