Im planning on watching cardcaptor sakura instead anon.

A few years back I watched the first 63 episodes of the original show and I never ended up feeling hooked. Lots of boring plotlines, low quality animation, and unimpressive humor. Maybe the later seasons get better but I didn't feel like trying any more.

On another note, Cardcaptor Sakura is a near masterpiece of visuals, narrative and character exploration, and I can't believe how disregarded it seems to be in modern anime discourse.
