Funny thing is that while this work is published as a shonen manga under a shonen manga label some people seem to be under the impression that this is exactly the opposite given the premise of "being the best at ballroom dancing", which is not the kind of shonen manga most of us were raised up on (Buddhism and ninjas, samurai expies in a world of spirits, and pirate adventures across the sea), and those Haikyu-esque character designs (which, if I remember correctly, also a shonen manga despite its large female following).

One thing's for sure, though. Making a manga about ballroom dancing was a brave endeavor and while I'm definitely not aware of reader feedback for this work, I don't think I'll be a fan of ballroom dancing any time soon nonetheless.
