Instead of his usual fast regeneration his arm is growing much more slower. Probably symbolic of the peace he is enduring as opposed to when it instantly grew back when he went all firepunch on those guys a couple chapters ago.

The artist is juxtaposing the passage of time with his arm growing back. I know the term is trash, but this is probably one of the more cinematic or 'Kino' manga I'm reading at the moment.

He's forcing himself to be happy for his sister, but is really just dying inside as a result of having to play pretend. He doesn't want to live at all and is sacrificing his own happiness for the sake of others, which will make the moment when his facade breaks even more cathartic.

This kind of brings me back to a question I had on my mind for a long while. Who would be more in the wrong here, the one trying to commit suicide who doesn't want to suffer by continuing his existence any further just so that everyone around him can stay happy without any consideration of how he feels, or the ones around him who don't want him to selfishly take his life away without any consideration for those around him and how they might feel?

Fire Punch has some of the more creative paneling of any manga I've read. I'm almost convinced mangaka in general don't bother with unusual and more creative paneling too much so that they won't make it harder for it to be adapted into an anime and profit off the royalties.

Also he said he wants Fire Punch to have a happy ending

I already told Judah that the Ice Witch doesn't exist, only the evolved can manipulate blessings to their will. The earth freezing up is only a natural effect.

Normally when someone makes a story where the entire point is the prolonged suffering of a character and those around them, shit gets tiresome and annoying pretty quickly when it becomes clear bad things are happening for the sake of it. So it's really impressive to me that that's been almost entirely avoided in Fire Punch, since the amount of suffering Agni has gone through is almost fucking comical at this point.

It seems very interesting, it will end soon?

I can't relate to most people that seem to have tried this manga, I loved it from ch.1 for some reason, the main comments I've heard is that it's too edgy at the beginning but it never really struck me as such, I mean it all felt fairly justified and well constructed because I hate edgy shit for the most part but it didn't strike as such in this manga.

Yeah, I think it's exceptionally well suited for that treatment. There's a clean enough break between each arc that you could just adapt one and call it quits at the end of it. And it already has really "cinematic" visuals, and a lot of the message of the narration is conveyed well by the scenes anyway, so I think it'd be pretty easy to cut some stuff without neutering the series by doing so.

It's pretty interesting.

I don't think there is a wrong side on this situation, Agni himself said nothing of his past life to them, he has pretty decend reasons for wanting to die but he has told nothing to anyone about it and since they don't know anything about his past they see that him killing himself is wrong and wasteful, even more so for Luna/Judah since he is literally everything she has and now the other girls too see him as part of their family and so they love him and don't want to lose him, I think all of this just makes the whole situation more miserable and what I think will happen is that the Star Wars crazy one will come back with a vengeance after him
