Also if I've understood correctly, the opening theme is Happy Material.

Char design is nice in motion actually

Looks pretty good. Kirie and Karin feel a bit weird to look at though.
Also how fucking far is this anime going if Negi is being animated.
Super rushed piece of shit or a 2 cour?
>>160712471
Yeah. Man, Happy Material is a good song (I wonder if they're going swap out the seiyuus singing it every few eps again) but it constantly reminds me of that first anime and how much of a huge piece of shit it was...

I like the song too, but it's such a bizarre choice and just feels like they're jerking off Negima for this. The key visual and pv looking like later Negima-based content is being adapted doesn't help either. Are they even going to cover this from the start?
>>160712471
Happy Material as the theme for UQ Holder is just too awkward.
>>160712508
if 24~26 episode, i'll be happy. but if 52~54 i will the happiest man alive.

>Vs Negi visual
Either this is gonna be a super rushed mess, it'll skip a gorillion of stuff, or will go full anime original.
>>160711733
>No Santa
Not even relevant enough for the anime.
Don't tell me Happy Material is some kind of idol song sung de by Negi's students and that they are going to use this for UQH ? And why is Negi's team on this ? Are they going that far? No way, right?

More seiyuus reveals.

>negima never got a serious adaptation with effort
>suddenly 50 episodes od uq
I dont know what to feel
Something about Happy Material is that is a very important song for the anime industry, if anything because of the butthurt it caused in the entertainment industry in general.
Back then (2005) Oricon had a TV show where they showed the top 25 selling artists of the week, with the CM of their songs, some small blurb about the artist and all that. Happy Material got quite popular and one week managed to get into the list (around 15th place), and only got a very brief mention of the name of the song, the singers and just like 10 seconds of the song. A singer that had his single bellow it criticized that some no-name girls could even enter the list, and that it was terrible that well known artists couldn't get that recognition. Then 2ch did what they had to do.
The next single of Happy Material (they released 6, each had 5 girls singing it) reached 9th place, and the next one 6th, forcing that butthurt artist to apologize, and the industry to realize that they had an untapped market to explode.
