Nastume has some pretty bad lows compared to Mushishi.

Why compare them?

Natsume would actually be decent if it didn't constantly remind you of a much more compelling story. A strong beautiful shunned girl that is taming powerful monster vs. a reactive beta whose sole motivation for literally everything, including taking a leak, is not wanting to be a bother to anyone.
