There's streeching and smearing, and exagerated stylization to make motion look better. This is a failed attemp of that. Rather than looking aesthetically pleasing, it looks like body horror.

I'm a fan of the manga, but this adaptation is too off-putting. I don't get the same feeling with the dancing that I do reading the manga. The OST is nice at least.
