Kirino was a much more realistic character, and at least there was some character development in oreimo,eromanga on the other hand had zero.

Oreimo wasn't good, not bad either, but was more entertaining than ems. All the characters were better too, especially male MC. Not to mention it wasn't about glorifying LN hacks and actually had blood-related incest.

Eromanga really made me appreciate Oreimo. Kyousuke and Kirino started off not liking each and then gradually grew to something more as Kyousuke intervened more in Kirino's life. Eromanga kinda did this, but have both characters blatantly admit that they want to be together but don't because of misunderstandings? Kyousuke was a better lead in that he became a siscon in time, but I don't see any reason why Sagiri and Masamune don't just fuck each other now other than to add filler. I liked how different the characters were to in Eromanga and the plot is trash.
