The MC is a truly average guy instead of just pretending to be average like you see in most Isekai. Also, instead of being nice, he is kind of an asshole. Not edgy levels of asshole (there are Isekai for that too), but definitely NOBODY likes him because he is "nice". In fact, he is such a shit that everybody calls him trashuma.

The girls are no better. So what exactly is good about the series? At least Re:Zerofags can give proper examples on how their series is pretty good, but every time someone tries to explain on how this series is good, they go right to the "It's fun/funny!" cop-out sentence. Just because it's fun/funny to you doesn't mean it's good. Just look at the smartphone anime. Some people seem to actually enjoy it and find it fun/funny, but i bet most of you wouldn't take that as a reason to praise it.
