If you removed the weird Yotsuba group crap and replaced ep 25 onward with something more akin to the live action plots Death Note would've been better hands down

Lelouch made me cry because of Nunally's reaction, but Light's was satisfying. L's ghost appearing to taunt Light about his dead man's hand was great
I'd say the former was a better death just because it made me feel more but sometimes I still rewatch the latter to this day just to laugh at Light
