It's a matter of strengths of resistances. Shalltear was stronger than Ainz because she was designed to kill undead players while being undead herself. Albedo could probably beat Ainz as well because she is a purely physical attack character and Ainz is a support character who shouldn't even fight 1v1 without a tank in his party who acts as a meat shield.

Generally players were superior to lvl 100 NPCs because they could plan their actions and react intelligently, while NPCs were dumb and predictable. That advantage disappeared when they became sentient.

In the LN Ulbert mentioned he admired Ainz's build and they had a polite argument over who was superior (both claiming the other was). Ainz's build isn't inferior. After all his MP is way off the charts (well above the "maximum" on a character sheet) and he has over double the usual number of spells anyone can learn (712/300). Where Ulbert specialized in attack power Ainz specialized in adaptability.

You might be right about DPS if it wasn't for the world item she has. Don't know what it does yet so she might have DPS.

Furthermore, her trump card lets her avoid direct attacks or spells and dump the effect into her armor, three times a day. And her armor is designed to take three attacks before breaking (since it's split into three parts).

She can deflect even the most lethal attacks Ainz has (maybe not "The Goal of All Life is Death), get close to him, and possible DPS. But, again, it depends on what her world item does and whether or not his skills come into play.

First of all, I never called her a bad attacker. Second, good and bad are poor descriptors because they're inaccurate so I'll specify my statement:

Just looking at her build (without her World Item) her offensive ability would probably be at the bottom end of warrior type classes due to good stats, but lack of offense oriented abilities. I say this using three bases for comparison:

Sebas & Cocytus, two warrior classes specialized in offense. Better stats and presumably better offense oriented special abilties.

Shalltear & Mare, two cleric classes specialized in offense. both have comparable or even lower stats than Albedo, but are recognized as being better offensively due to spells & special abilities, again due to specialization.

Ainz, in his perfect warrior form probably has a stat total that is roughly equal to Albedo, probably worse defensive stats and no special abilities whatoever. This is where I would put Albedo. Being able to punch things really hard with a naturally high attack.

Obviously she'd be better at hitting things than any rogue, caster and non-offense specialized cleric.

Actually you bring up a good example: the reason he instakills anything within a certain distance is because everything in the new world is so low level, but that ability would probably be useless in Yggdrassil where the majority of players are max level and are probably farming mobs close to their level rather than going to whatever low level area where his aura would actually kill stuff.

Also super spells like goatmom are probably used to just kill trash mobs surrounding a boss or something.
