Not too sure since from the flashbacks we see they do tend to just snap at fucking random. Lucy was a minor exception where she needed literally kick the puppy to death tier villains to make her lose her shit.
That said, she still deserved to get rekt by Bandou.

The manga has a better Bandou, so thus it's better than the anime.

Also it actually has closure and character development here and there.
Plus it doesn't go full QUALITY at the ending, it's only QUALITY at the beginning. Opposite of the anime.

That said it does have a lot more weird shit, like that giant blob school girl living in a lake, or diaper girl.

She is mad because her anime is terrible.
