You found it to be boring and unmemorable. A lot of others didn't. I found Lord of the Rings to be boring and unmemorable. A lot of others didn't. I can't convince somebody who didn't care for the movie that it was "memorable", because it wasn't like that for them. All I can do is say what I though was done well. Would you like me to do so?
