Why is old Key so great?

Could have been so much better if Nagisa had stayed dead. And no there being an explenation that she was revived, for which ther isn't in the anime, is still bullshit and shouldn't even exist in the first place. Have her die and him ovecoming the stuff, which he does, and have Ushhio not die and let him leave in peace maybe get togethe with Kyou, who I don't even liek but it would hgave been way better.
