It's a zip of three .ks files, viewable with any text editing program after you extract them.

The reason why it's so very little is because I don't have an actual way to patch my translation into the game, so therefore I don't know what format I will have to make my translation abide by to get it to display properly within the actual game.

Like, english is unavoidably more verbose than Japanese, and VN game engines aren't usually equipped or prepared to handle English text much. The patch is what changes to game engine to allow it to work well with an english translation, but for most games, the patch will still have its own limits for what the game engine can and cannot display, and what changes to the script it can and cannot support.

For example,in my test translation script, I tried to make most of it sound formal in tone and more novel-esque. But what if the english patch (if ever there is one) can only fit about thirty english words per line? What if it can only have as many english characters per line as there were Japanese characters (so all of the sudden, I have to translate 'なにこれ？' into an english equivalent that's only four letters long)? What if it can't format words longer than ten characters properly? If any of these issues were to exist in the patch, I'd have to throw out everything I've done and rework the translation to get it to work within the rules of the patch.

I wouldn't really mind that (it's something I have to deal with in other projects as well), but the problem is that, like I said, I don't have the patch. I don't have any patch, so I don't know what sort of rules will and won't exist for my translation to work with the game engine. This makes me less than inclined to work on it.
