CGI isn't inherently flawed, it's just hard to make it look good, and it's usually used in anime in the cheapest and tackiest way possible.

I normally don't like it because when it became popular, it was used unnecessarily. Ordinary animation is more aesthetically pleasing as a rule. However, there is an Inuyashiki adaptation coming out this year which is going to incorporate CGI for the robot elements. I have high hopes for this one. It would be difficult to do in a regular style.

Wrong, it's not hard at all, anime studios just suck at it for some reason.

The average video game with an anime art style looks like 2x as better as the average piece of CG in anime, let alone stuff like what cyberconnect does, webm and video related
