There's actually a surprising amount of manga and doujins with at least f/f combat basis. Both japanese and korean. But they're all super niche and never get noticed, or like on webcomics brands no one ever pays attention to. Even worse is for some reason the people who do own them, never scan or upload them, they only do "shares/trades" at best.

I've seen a couple of series floating around with the theme, mostly because of random cover images that indicate they're like 15+ volumes in.

I think there was one that had like "realistic" art and approach similar to all rounder megaru, but about female boxers, that I saw a few years back but couldn't find the title or raws for. It might have been korean.

I know gachi drunkers does a ton of wrestling/mma/boxing f/f doujins, and he has a couple of serializations. Also one of the more popular monster girl artists is doing a series on monster girl pro wrestling in a webcomic series, that got mentioned in one of the monster girl threads a few weeks ago.

Off the top of my head, go look at like nexas, gachi drunkers, a bunch of older non touhou/H bowalia doujins/serializations that you can still see bits of on his site. A lot of the thematic combat compilations(non futa) that Remora works do have many of the current/active artists for the genre. You have to basically find their names, go their sites and track down whatever doujins and serializations they've done. (Then cry because they're behind webcomic paywalls, extremely limited production, or never scanned)

As for anwering the OP, there's no way to make a realistic or at least grounded show about mixed boxing that wouldn't depict anything other than horrible one sided slaughters, and introducing super powers or magic bullshit to equalize fights renders boxing completely pointless, so that's out of the window too.

I guess it could try appealing to ryona/fendomfags, but that would only attract a very niche audience, and count me out of that because I'm not into either. So to summarize, not only I wouldn't watch a show like this, but also really doubt you could make something worthwhile out of the premise.

There's not one unique proper technique, but there are things you don't do in actual boxing no matter the style, because it can get you knocked out.

For the most part it is. HnI has been brought up in this thread for example, and while not completely realistic, it can still be considered grounded in the sense that fighters can get tired, they`re separated by classes, biomechanical are at the very least taken into account etc.

You can have semi-fantastical elements and what not, but at that point it loses the appeal of verosimilitude grounded sports stories have, or you can have somewhat grounded sports stories, but then that doesn't mesh well with supernatural elements. I think this is a limitation that's more dificult to bridge with sports anime that in other genres.
