Ishida rushed her and Kaneki's development as a couple in less than 10 chapters including confession, sex, pregnancy and even marriage. I was hoping that when Haise regained his memories, he would simply be a progression of V14 Kaneki with yet simultaneously still retain his "Haise" quirks. Say what you will about "Haise", but he was a hell of a lot more entertaining than either of his subsequent variants. Black Reaper had potential, but was rushed and felt ultimately felt tacked on as Ishida did not develop it at all.
