What does it mean? What the fuck does ANY of his work mean?

It's horror. What does the horror genre mean? Nothing, it's just meant to make you have a good time while being scared.

>being scared
Most of his stories are just destroying my sides though.
>>160071279
Well it's meant to be humorous too. So he succeeded.
Seriously there's no meaning behind it except for scary/funny/interesting pictures.

This, some of them are unintentionally hilarious.
The Souichi ones are just funny but other ones I can't help but laugh like that one with the tall creepy model who suddenly eats someone.

Ito's work relies greatly in the fear of the unkown and inexplicable. The idea that horrible, impossible things can happen without a reason or explanation, that something horrible simply is and we cannot do anything about it or anything to stop it, much less explain it.
Ito's work makes you feel helpless as his characters, because you never know more than they do.
He can't write an ending to save his life.

Sadly this is true.
>>160071606
so Lovecraft horror ?
>>160072602
Ito's writing is throwaway in general. People don't come to his books for story, they come because of the fucked-up scenarios he's so good at making.
Everything he writes is really just an excuse to string together some random horrifying events.

Exactly

But is this a bad thing?
