I always liked Needless for taking me back to my youth. Bright colors, comedy mingled in with the fights, the more enemies defeated the larger the party gets, crazy powers and power ups, good guy versus bad guy- no middle ground, the louder you shout the name the stronger the attack is, etc.
This is probably the dumbest show I rewatch most often and I say that as someone who rewatches Code Geass pretty often.
