Then there's also the still-kinda-popular normiebait "my first animoo" series like SAO, One Punch Man (this one is actually all right desu), Attack on Titan, and Death Note (this ).

Most of these shows have the benefit of being popular around the time the internet was first forming and so have become staples of sites like 4chan. Not only that but for a while Bebop and SM was the only anime in town for most. So no probably not but who really cares?
