There are other ingredients which is impossible for a ghoul to consume just like how ghouls can drink black coffee and can't put anything in it. The reason they can drink blood wine is because it's alcoholic blood with nothing else in it. No, it actually implies that "to feel intoxicated" they need Blood Wine. Not that they can't consume alcohol. Which would make no sense, seeing how they drink literal Blood alcohol content (BAC).
