i actually really liked One Punch, i think the parody tag is a little misleading though

I genuinely have no idea why people like this series so much. It's not offensively bad or anything, and it has some nice animation, but that's really about it.

Part 4 is fine and is great for a shounen series, despite having an annoying fan base. It has a good setting, likable characters, and works out decently as a story with a fantastic villain and protagonist.

That's not true. It wasn't a shit show that got popular for just any reason. When it first started airing, it was actually quite good and the premise of the treasure-hunting superpirate and his crew of badasses was a hit.

But over the years, it got not only repetitive, but the quality also did not improve(that much), plus the story is still baby-tier simple.

So not a bad anime that got popular for no reason; a once good anime that reached rightful popularity, but is subpar by today's standards and doesn't really deserve it's popularity nowadays.
