because i didn't feel anything emotionally while reading this. when aiko died, i didn't even know she fucking died. i thought punpun was telling the truth. i can watch stuff and cry like a little baby but as soon as i have to read something, i might as well throw out all impacting emotions. the most i got was goosebumps. also, aiko ruined punpun's life and he deserved better. the whole cult shit was fucking annoying and the manga arc was boring. overall i'd give it like a 7-8/10

We all have different reactions to it. I was torn when Aiko died. I started reading when the series was completed, so I knew that I was close to the end, but I just didn't know what to expect. I couldn't think of what they would do to survive, and then suddenly she just offs herself. It just felt like a heavy blow to me when I got to that part, but by the end, in hindsight, it seems necessary. They probably really would have killed each other if they had continued. Killing herself was Aiko's biggest gift to Punpun.

I didn't mind all the cult and god shit. Yeah they are the shitty and boring portions of the story, but I like to immerse myself in the story and just go with it.

I felt pretty good. Punpun's nephew being a reflection of him as he was of his uncle was pretty neat. I liked the whole cycle never ends and that's just life aspect of the manga. I think god was each one's inner issues/thoughts but then again Pegasus did forsee the future so idk. There was alot going on in the background and the subploy was pretty interesting, I think what you take from the manga depends on the kind of life you've lived; since there are alot of characters one can identify with.
