Most recent of off the top of my mind that I can think of that aired in the spring was ACCA. Animation during that competition was dissapointing, but I understand that these two episodes were just an introduction and by the preview we can already see better animation.
But the rhythm is still a bit off for me, not feeling that comedic timing from the manga.

Thanks for the complete scene. Loved that scene and it also conveyed that there's a nice complexity to the characters, as Tatara realized that Shizuku doesn't need saving and that Hyoudou isn't some uncaring schmuck. I loved especially the 2nd half of the episode. Just wished there hadn't been quite as many stills in the competition. I enjoy the heck out of it so far and look forward to the upcoming episodes, as it only gets better and more intense from here, at the very least plotwise.

I'm happy that a manga I enjoy gets such a deluxe treatment.

Yeah. I admire how it handles characters, and how Tatara is discovering this world of dance and people in it.

I loved this episode so much. Flawless adaptation so far. The ost is so nice. The brushy animation was so expressive and beautiful. Hard to believe my favorite manga is being treated so well.
