There's plenty of eagerness nowadays, it's the possibilities that are being limited. More and more budget and time constrains, censorship, audiences supporting the uninspired and tropey shit, product placement gaining terrain, few and underpayed employees, fast but shitty animation methods being favored over slow but good ones, etc.
