I'm actually serious about the foreshadowing. The story would cover the Michigan primary, which was a major upset as Hillary was predicted to win by 26 but lost by a single point on election day. On November 8th, Hillary lost Michigan by a similar margin after again being predicted the heavy favorite. There are a lot of little details like that through the story of the election, and it actually really fits together to make a cohesive story.
