>9 days until the new chapter
Hope you're ready for more tree shenanigans.
Wait so Josuke was created because of being buried in the ground or because of eating a Rokakaka fruit? If it's the latter why did these fruits fuse?
>New Rokakaka transfers equivalent exchange from Kira to Josefumi
>Kira is already dead
>Both are buried and swap parts
>New boy pops out who has parts of Kira on him.
Or at least that's how I think it went.
The ground shifts things around, like body parts, and the fruit was potentially powered up by the original Soft and Wet, stealing the life from Josefumi and putting it into the new body that became Josuke. Not sure about the latter, that's just my thoughts right now. Currently rereading Jojolion to clear this up
reposting cause i spent a stupid amount of time writing this out
>It's a combo of 2 people undergoing the equivalent exchange
This has been my theory since the moment we found out about the Rokakaka. Jobin is obviously being set up to be a major villain (or he could have a redemption arc, that's also a possibility.)
I believe he's going to fuse with someone important later on, possibly the true leader of the rock people. I don't think it's going to be Kaato because she's already been established to be a good person who'd do anything for her family, which also fuels my Jobin redemption theory, but that's besides the point. Maybe they'll fuse after losing an intense fight with Josuke where Yasuho gets seriously hurt or something like that. It's too perfect an opportunity to draw a weird fucked up fusion of two really powerful bad guys for araki to pass up.
Plus, look at Jobin's handsome ass face... His design is definitely good enough for main villain material
There was a time when I seriously thought Damo was gonna be the main villain and fuse with Jobin, but alas... Araki giveth, and Araki taketh away
Combination of both. The grafted Rokakaka lets someone else take the fallout from an equivalent exchange rather than suffering it yourself. Josefumi took on all of Kira's injuries himself to save his life, but then they fell into the Wall Eyes and their power of equivalent exchange swapped parts of the two bodies around over 3 days to create Josuke.
Dude, the Rokakaka can be used as a weapon. I'm not talking biological upgrades or a biological weapon, like an actual weapon of murder.
>be perfectly fine
>grab some poor sap
>have them suffer in place of you
If seems to work based off direct contact, because Josefumi had his hands all over Kira when he was healing him.
But if you're perfectly fine there'll be nothing to exchange to them. Unless you walk up to them, stab yourself in the chest multiple times, grab them while they're shocked and eat the grafted Rokakaka.
Will anime be saved when SBR gets animated?
I don't recall saying the Rokakaka won't work if you don't have anything wrong. I just know it was only used on those with some kind of illness/handicap.
gonna need a source fren
There's nothing to say it won't work if there's nothing wrong with you, but if there's nothing wrong with you what will it do to the other person? If there's nothing bad to exchange then they won't receive anything bad.
Oh god, I just realized how boring the SBR anime is going to be
>People will boycott SBR after seeing the SO finale
I almost drop SBR after the first stage of the race.
It was so dull and boring I almost fell asleep in some chapters
It doesn't help that the first couple of chapters are like 40/70 pages long with very little happening
>It was so dull and boring I almost fell asleep in some chapters
>It doesn't help that the first couple of chapters are like 40/70 pages long with very little happening
Reminder that JoJolion will be at least 100 chapters long. From the beginning SBR chapters were numbered with two digits like '#XX' (#05, #34, #66 etc) while JoJolion chapters have been numbered with 3 digits ie '#XXX' (#005, #034, #066 etc). Why add the extra digit if you're not planning on using it? It's even kept in the volume releases too.
I've been catching up on JoJolion. I'm on Blue Hawaii right now. Jobin is most definitely the main villain, no question. I just want to see what Speed King's true power is. I highly doubt that heating up wax a little bit is the extent of its abilities.
>cat ears Shinobu
Also, this Japanese guy has better English handwriting than I do.
Yeah, I think the volume release of the chapters introducing Jobin and Speed King with the beetle showdown included an extra page where Speed King was first revealed as it's name and a note saying that it either had multiple abilities of which heat manipulation was just one or it had one ability of which heat manipulation was just one application, don't remember which. There's more to it than what we've seen so far for sure. Jobin might not have even realised it's true nature himself, since he's only used it for heating things up so far. He probably hasn't had too many Stand engagements before Josuke showing up either, considering how he seems to have PTSD after seeing Damo's head pop like a grape and that he's terrified of Josuke. I can see their final battle mirroring Josuke vs Kira, since Bites the Dust only activates when Kira's back is against the wall and he has no other way out Jobin could have a moment of clarity right before Gappy is about to kill him where he realises what his true ability has been after all those years and suddenly turn the tables with outrageous new applications of it.
tbqh im scared that pt5 anime would sound like this
I just love the theme that all the Higashikata family's Stands have King in their names, and that Josuke and Yasuho have Stands named after Prince songs. Even half of Josuke was made up of a Stand named after a Queen song, too.
I wonder what it all means.
I don;t even like gay shit but there's something about Jotaro getting abused that does things to my dick
I know you're going for some waifufag bullshit but she's legitimately an interesting character. I want to find out about her life before Dio and what it was like raising evil rapist Michael Berryman.
Time Travel seems like a pretty obvious answer. Imagine the paradoxic shit you could do. Valentine proves that there's a multiverse, but going back in time would probably only affect that one universe with any paradoxes.
>Speed King gets time travel
>Goes to Post-Part 6 universe
Like BTD or GER?
Why has there been so much references to DiU and JJL in some places lately?
>There are commercials and covers of DiU and JJL being the same place
>There is also the Art Exhibition at Sendai soon which is also showcasing art from Parts 4 and 8
>Speed King sends Gappy to a future where Jobin wins
>Now Gappy must undo the evil that is the Rokakaka Industry.
>Gotta get back
>Back to the past
I haven't read JoJolion yet, is that supposed to be girl Jotaro?
DiU was always Araki's favourite because he had the most fun writing it though he still thinks he did an objectively better job writing 5, 6 and 7. JJL is the current Part and also basically Araki rewriting Part 4 with his improved writing and drawing skills and including a bunch of shit he's thought up between then and now.
You know what a Particle Accelerator is, right? Maybe you've also heard of it as a particle collider. The LHC (Large Hadron Collider) is a machine that does this, which then creates a Higs boson (also called the God particle). I think it'd be best if you looked it up for yourself, it's really fascinating stuff.
I don't pay much attention to the website so this info may have been there for about a month now, but if you scroll down to the bottom you can find the info for the next UJ here:

>Jesus is somewhere in Morioh
i got a bad feeling about this.
This is too much. This can't be a coincidence.
Every thread, there's one person at least who had "just" finished Part 6 and asks here what happened? I'm going to make a copypasta since someone talked about it last time.
Made in Heaven resets the universe and leaves all organic lifeforms unharmed and with them knowing about their future destinies. However, if Pucci kills a person or a person dies on their own terms, they will be reincarnated into a completely different person. The same applies to Pucci.
Jolyne and the others were killed, so they were reincarnated into something that wasn't truly the ones we've seen from the past.
Emporio killed Pucci, and that erased his existence and any of his previous influences in the universe. That means that Pucci's influence doesn't impact Jotaro and Jolyne's life. Now Jolyne is Irene, and she is now free from the Joestar curse, as everything from DIO is now completely gone.
I came here to kick gum and chew shitposts, and I am all out of gum

That has to be a typo.
Jesus, did the DiU anime really get that popular? With all of these events and shit happening around Japan, I'm wondering if JoJo really is that popular or if these are just really specific examples.
It's always been popular but after switching to Ultra Jump back in 2004 it fell out of popular interest a bit since it was no longer in the most read manga magazine in the world. The anime has revived a lot of interest in the series and also brought in a lot of new interest as well, we're in a renaissance of popularity for JJBA.
>relegated into a background character after fight
The rock humans place such emphasis on the secrecy of the Rokakaka's equivalent exchange properties and the "new ability" the grafted ones have, yet Kyo seems to be the only one that knew of the Wall Eyes' own equivalent exchange properties independent of the fruit operation. Is that information well known or did she figure it out herself and is keeping it a secret?
Not only are they named with "King" in their names, but where precisely in those names is based on generation too.
>1st gen: Norisuke IV/Josuke I: King Nothing
>2nd gen: Norisuke's children: Speed King, Walking Heart, Nut King Call, California King Bed
>3rd gen: Norisuke's grandchildren: Paper Moon King
That was her speculation, Norisuke and Jobin both know about it since that's where their curse was lifted. The head of the household has known about it since Norisuke I at least.
Joskue is jesus reborn. violent jesus.
Man guys I hate myself, idk what it is, but I'm attracted to Joshuu, is my boyfriend right that I have no standards?
these threads always get me wet
you guys got any joshuu or speedwagon porn
Agreed, the rather below-average art at the start compared to how Part 6 looked like near its end also made me want to drop it too. Still gotta give props to Araki for being able to release chapters with over 30 pages weekly at first while not dying.
Geeze, glad I got this one on pre order. I might ask for express shipping this time.
Also I do still have the part 3 stickers, so if you want 3+4 ill send them together if anyone wants them.
Tomoko saved Norisuke with "The power of the ground."
I'm guessing he probably looked into things and would have discovered things like the wall eyes.
>Not head soother coming out the bag.
Jotaro tentacle rape is the best.
I knew you would like it
No. You can go to Garik's tumblr. He has all kinds of JoJo porn.
Reading part 5 now. Is every main villain from here on will have time manipulation gimmick?
Guys, I don't want to wait 3 years for JoJolion to end.
>Separate Booklet Short Story Novel "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan"
I wonder how quickly it'll be translated.
It improves drastically in the second half but it is still monster of the week in nature. Watch a few more episodes and if it STILL isn't doing anything for you, skip ahead. Don't go right to DIO's World though, the fight just before that (Vanilla Ice) is great too so watch it as well. And Parts 4 onwards retain the length of Part 3 but are structured much more in line with 1-2. Also I'd recommend reading the manga at some point, the anime is a good adaptation and fine as a first exposure to the series but it's rather cheaply made and still doesn't match the source material.
>Is that commie subs?
No idea, I got that image from an earlier thread.
Did Araki lose a girlfriend to a time traveller or something?
nah space-time manipulation just makes for excellent final boss powers
I remember him mentioning in a volume note or something that he gives villains time manipulation abilities because he believes if you had complete time control you'd be invincible. He doesn't want an antagonist to be truly invincible since that's boring and also boring to come up with a counter to, so he gives them a time power to put them right up there as nearly unstoppable but still with a chance of defeating them. Also a time traveler kicked his dog.
>Change shipping to DHL
>Adds €30 onto the price.
My figure and dj that went through a nip warehouse didn't do this to me.
I appreciate any art of the Guard Squad together. Except Carne.
Also I hope you really didn't think I was mad at you Terence. All in good banter my friend. I really hope you are Terence but I don't feel like waiting 400 posts to reply.
I'm assuming it will come with the Raws. IT'd be scanned pretty quickly.
Worse comes to worse, I'll scan it.
I'm hesitant to do it only because I'm not at work so t don't have a proper scanner where I can fiddle with the settings and shit
Based on 8 and a little of 7, I wonder if Araki went and had some marital issues.
>Aishou's girlfriend cheated
>Yasuho's home life.
>Mitsuba being a silent background piece of cardboard.
>Dolomite's girlfriend getting him turned into fried chicken.
>Rai going on at Yasuho.
What once was dog kicking is now being told to stop drawing and help clean the kitchen.
That Johnny sounds like a fucking asshole
Anyway how come we came back this early in time in the comic? Shouldn't we be somewhere in the 2010s in part 7?
i think this picture serves as an adequate explanation on the most confusing part of king crimson
It's a reboot, 6 was the end of the series and 7 started as it's own series (didn't have JoJo in the title) until it switched magazines after 23 chapters where it was declared Part 7 officially.
Nah, Diavolo is. During the story all he ever does is his job.
Actually, from the beginning of the series there was problems in families, Brando family is the most obvious example of dysfunctional, but Joestar family also had its little issues, from George I putting too much pressure on his son, Joseph being an orphan raised by his grandma and uncle Speedwagon, not knowing what happened to his mom until after he peeped on her, Jotaro was a delinquent with an absent father and a mom that allowed him way too much, Josuke is a bastard child, Jolyne kept getting into trouble to get her father's attention, Giorno's mom was a selfish bitch and he needed help from a mafia guy to not get beaten by his violent step-father. And those are just the main heroes.
A good deal of new characters are inspired by old ones, in fact part 7 is where Araki fulfilled his wish of expanding on the relationship between Jonathan and Zeppeli, except Gyro is a mix of Will and Caesar.
No that's Pucci or Valentine. Pucci did evil things because he didn't even realise he was evil, so from his perspective he dindu nuffin. Valentine also thought he was doing the right thing but what separates him from Pucci is that he is so self righteous he thought that ANYTHING he did was the right thing because he had a huge ego and martyrdom complex fueled by D4C letting him sacrifice himself for any cause with no drawbacks, making it not even really a sacrifice. Even Jesus told him enough was enough by trying to stop him raping Lucy but he somehow twisted that and interpreted it as Jesus actually liking him so much that his son would literally be the son of Christ.
Kira knew what he was doing was evil but didn't care because he got off on it. Diavolo knew what he was doing was wrong but didn't care because he thought fate chose him to stand above everyone else so they belonged to him. Kars isn't even human so as far as he was concerned he was just squashing bugs, but he was incredibly sadistic about it and didn't care about his comrades dying to push him higher. DIO is self explanatory.
I was just jossing but we spoke about this before when we were talking about Rykiel and Dio's sons.
Family issues and dynamics comes up a hell of a lot and you really see Araki's fascination with it.
I think yo me that's what makes the part 8 family so likeable. They feel very real with the subtle interactions and jokes. Even down to Joshu protecting Daiya, or the siblings joking about the hair, or both girls around their dad.
The family photo cover looks like one even down to the awkwardness.
He definitely knew it was wrong, even had to mentally prepare himself an shiet. Pretty much this >>159614820
Weekly chapters have to be paced differently and as Araki has said for WSJ you need to continually keep on building hype every chapter and it stifles a lot of potential for slower series. Also the pages in WSJ are like half the size of the UJ ones, art would suffer immensely as well.
Who do you think will succumb to fate at the end of the Part?
both of themare pretty obvious, but what about others?
He would be dead whether he liked it or not, anon.
The Johnny flashback was, as the old man said, just a legend and likely misinterpreted over the 110 years ago it happened. The US agents actually retrieved Johnny's corpse and not Jesus' corpse, since after taking on the Stone Disease his corpse would have resembled it. Jesus is still beneath the Lone Pine on the Higashikata property and is what causes the exchange phenomenon on their land and the Wall Eyes. Jesus might also be what made the Rokakaka that Josefumi grew there evolve into a new kind of Rokakaka, since the equivalent exchange powers of Jesus on the land it grew boosted it's own equivalent exchange powers.
He was leaked months ago.
Also I fucking wish I could pull a 5 star. I've been playing literally since day one and have only 5 star Josuke. Literally fuck my luck, every time I do a multi pull I get like 3 4-stars max. I've literally pulled hundreds of times including the multis and still haven't gotten a second 5 star.
I fucking want to die
Even though he was leaked months ago, some people still thought he was going to be unplayable because Diamond Records said they were considering one "non-combat character" that appears in both the original manga and the anime.
I've been playing since day 1 and also only have a 5* Josuke too. I did get a 5* Iggy a couple weeks ago when I pulled on the Kira banner. I'm still mad.
She's almost blind according to her intro chapter, she can just recognise shapes if light is strong enough. She knows where everything is in the house so she heard the fax machine and knew what it was. She tries to take it to Josuke to read for her and also she assumes it's Josuke's anyway and she's his bitch now so and she loves it.
what is the general opinion on Stardust Crusaders?
filthy secondary here who watched the first anime ironically for the memes and to shitpost about how manime is trash. I was really surprised how much fun it was, equally surprised how shit Stardust Crusaders turned out, so I couldn't finish it
Here's worst boy and a doujin of Speedwagon getting raped by Zombies
>caesar's headband is the censor bar
>greedy shit that buys multiple seats at the movie theatre so no one can sit next around him
>expects a girl that he's been friends with for years to want his dick
>is a whiny little shit
>has terrible hair
>doesn't even know Aida Mitsuo
>has character development alongside those to prove that he is growing more as a person
He'll die a dick but he won't be as much as one.
How much Jojo do you think Araki has left in him? He's been doing this near constantly since the 80s after all and the series is the seventh longest running manga in history. Araki is 57, which is practically ancient by Japanese standards.
I totally forgot about that. He truly is the worst boy.
The majority of the translation actually seems to be fro the French/Italian version as a base. I was doing a language comparison to try to explain why I prefer French Cioccolata, but the Russian has give or take) 1:1 with that. Including the removal of the "I love you" line.
I had an Italian talk with me through various panels. There's actually one panel where Cioccolata screams at Giorno that is willy translated differently in other languages. I keep missing Daxing ask him why that panel has so many variants. The Italian version adds him shouting his name, while the French version is him crying victory an the English is just "Back off."
The typsetting is cute. Fuck you.
I need a picture of Joshu asking Rai about nuts and pulling a really bad Deez Nuts joke before being elbowed.
He'd probably like it because it's "Just like Yasuho"
Dumping every piece of speed King art and edits ever made
Ive collected it all
I wonder if we will see another stand that involves mirrors again. All the mirror stuff we've seen so far has been pretty creepy, considering that the mirror world that Illuso's stand had access to was exactly like the real world but completely lifeless.
There's so much more but I have so much to do
mewith my stand
Reminder that speed king is the best stand in the series
>Finished part 7.
I can see why do many people love this part the most. Side villains were great, the whole premise that Araki is evolving his writing and expanding on previous ideas. Only thing i didn't like was the Devil's Palm.
Valentine and Johnny got their stands through the hand and heart but the rest got it? I didn't understand the stipulation of awakening the stand. Pure willpower? Why didn't Gyro get a stand, or does infinite rotation count? Did the comet virus infect them without the arrow or something, people someone explain.
Such a long part but fucking awesome. What was your reaction when Dio came back getting with za warudo?
>mfw Gyro reveals his name and you realise what's in his future.
Gyro did get a stand though, Ball Breaker.
oh so it was actually a stand and not a just a visual representation of infinite spin
Sometimes he drops off his kid's heart medication and pick out hats when he's fruit running.
Whoops, meant to post the gif version.
>no new anime
>no new chapter
>movie isn't out yet
>no games in development
gee, i wonder why the threads have been slow
Rebuild Araki 2.0 You can (not) forget.
You want ideas?
Carne x Trish
Depends on how many Rokakakas we have in stock
Legit question: Would you give up your life to save Araki from dying? I mean he is an idol and inspiration for many people and you're just a worthless nobody
I have three ideas:
>JJBA: Battle Over Heaven
SBR Universe short series with George Joestar II as a pilot in WWI with alt versions of Speedwagon and Lisa Lisa.
Featuring Stroheim as a Red Baron type villain to have aerial Stand battles against.
>JJBA: Digital Millennium
The one I'm working on right now, might end up as something for /qst/ where the main character is the original Stand user of Remote Romance.
Basically it would be Hackers but with Stands and Y2K conspiracies.
>JJBA: Untitled Heist Part 9
My SBR Jolyne part with an Ocean's 11 style heist of a casino in Morocco owned by a powerful Stand user.
I have a lot of time to think about these.
I'm at the Roman coliseum on vacation and I think I found Polnareff
How do I get the requiem arrow
well, the thing i don't really like about part 4 is how there isn't that much direction. like in part 3, they gotta go to cairo to save jotaro's mom and part 7 they gotta go to new york. the reason it's where it's at is i just really love killer queen and kira
It's understandable but I don't like focusing on direction too much. I mean HxH is one of the best shonens and it doesn't even have a goal. Also mind telling why why you put 1 this high?
You're wrong, because my opinion differs from yours.
I personally cosider those negatives but okay. The ending is still amazing though. So I imagine you hate part 5 so much because it was messy, right? I loved it and consider it my second favourite part so I'm just curious
well the reason i hate part five is ger, the ending in general, diavolo, giorno. i also i really hated the fights. people also say that the part 5 fights are amazing, but they're not. just because they're convoluted and you don't really understand what's going on doesn't make it good. i do like king crimson and bruno though.
Are you guys still actually reading any of the crap Araki puts out anymore?
Like why bother when you have pic related
I mean, except for the final fight, the fights are pretty damn good. It's just that the final fight should be the best, or at least one of the best, and the final fight of Part 5 is the absolute worst final fight in JoJo. And not because it's just not as good as the others, but because it's legit a bad fight.
Did you read the latest translations? It chagned opinion of a lot of people. The GER fight was more of a symbolic and fitting ending than an actual fight. The fights are good because they are very kinetic and fast paced. Maybe it's not your thing or maybe you have a hard time visualizing them. Either way I think the anime will sell you on that
oasis was shit, green day was shit, notorious b.i.g. was shit, and man in the mirror was shit. also that one water one that was attacking narancia and controlling his speech was shit. i dunno, maybe part 5 isn't as bad as i think it is, but there's just something in me that really hates it
I don't know. I liked all the ones you listed. I thought Oasis and Green Day were legit good, Clash and Talking Head was pretty funny, and the other two were at least okay. The only fights I can think of that I thought were bad are Baby Face and maybe Soft Machine. Grateful Dead and White Album make up for it though.
i just like simple fights that don't have a lot of talking and explanations. that's especially why i hated notorious b.i.g. that's also why i hate giorno. he just all about resolve~~~~~~ and being the smart explainer guy. he's just so flat and boring.
>Green Day was shit
I agree with you tat the rest of the Guard Squad is bad and you can tell Biggy was just shoehorned in.
But don't you talk shit about one of the best fights. That fight is filled with great art, interesting dynamics, tonnes of symbolism and feels like an actual climatic fight. An interesting stand that was at least able to go toe to toe with GE.
But II agree Oasis fucking sucks so many balls and it really gets the disappointment ball rolling.
Polnareff did not deserve to get shit on like that during part 5
>no doujins of this
still makes me mad
How'd he pull off kidnapping and torturing two stand users?
By staying under the cover and sending a email.
Speaking of Diavolo dying, I wonder if GER set up one of those deaths to come after a really long life.
Think about it. Diavolo is so used to dying in all sorts of ways that he would go that entire life trying to anticipate how he was going to die. That'd be even more torture.
>ranking parts and jojos posts
>can someone explain me part 6's ending. . .
>gio suckz lol
>where can I read jojo colored ?
>I LOVE KIRA
>I miss hamon. .
>Joseph best jojo !!1
>Did Diavolo deserve it ?
>can I skip X part ???
>how does KC and GER work ???????
>Part 8 fanfic posts
I'm not sure how Made in Heaven works i also have no idea how King Crimson works either but i'm sure part 2 joseph could asspull and defeat both those stands with hamon
also kira is CUTE
Rereading Part 3. I forgot how short The Sun fight was. How and why did they turn it into a full fucking episode?
