The ground shifts things around, like body parts, and the fruit was potentially powered up by the original Soft and Wet, stealing the life from Josefumi and putting it into the new body that became Josuke. Not sure about the latter, that's just my thoughts right now. Currently rereading Jojolion to clear this up

This has been my theory since the moment we found out about the Rokakaka. Jobin is obviously being set up to be a major villain (or he could have a redemption arc, that's also a possibility.)

I believe he's going to fuse with someone important later on, possibly the true leader of the rock people. I don't think it's going to be Kaato because she's already been established to be a good person who'd do anything for her family, which also fuels my Jobin redemption theory, but that's besides the point. Maybe they'll fuse after losing an intense fight with Josuke where Yasuho gets seriously hurt or something like that. It's too perfect an opportunity to draw a weird fucked up fusion of two really powerful bad guys for araki to pass up.

Plus, look at Jobin's handsome ass face... His design is definitely good enough for main villain material

There was a time when I seriously thought Damo was gonna be the main villain and fuse with Jobin, but alas... Araki giveth, and Araki taketh away

Combination of both. The grafted Rokakaka lets someone else take the fallout from an equivalent exchange rather than suffering it yourself. Josefumi took on all of Kira's injuries himself to save his life, but then they fell into the Wall Eyes and their power of equivalent exchange swapped parts of the two bodies around over 3 days to create Josuke.

Reminder that JoJolion will be at least 100 chapters long. From the beginning SBR chapters were numbered with two digits like '#XX' (#05, #34, #66 etc) while JoJolion chapters have been numbered with 3 digits ie '#XXX' (#005, #034, #066 etc). Why add the extra digit if you're not planning on using it? It's even kept in the volume releases too.

Yeah, I think the volume release of the chapters introducing Jobin and Speed King with the beetle showdown included an extra page where Speed King was first revealed as it's name and a note saying that it either had multiple abilities of which heat manipulation was just one or it had one ability of which heat manipulation was just one application, don't remember which. There's more to it than what we've seen so far for sure. Jobin might not have even realised it's true nature himself, since he's only used it for heating things up so far. He probably hasn't had too many Stand engagements before Josuke showing up either, considering how he seems to have PTSD after seeing Damo's head pop like a grape and that he's terrified of Josuke. I can see their final battle mirroring Josuke vs Kira, since Bites the Dust only activates when Kira's back is against the wall and he has no other way out Jobin could have a moment of clarity right before Gappy is about to kill him where he realises what his true ability has been after all those years and suddenly turn the tables with outrageous new applications of it.

Made in Heaven resets the universe and leaves all organic lifeforms unharmed and with them knowing about their future destinies. However, if Pucci kills a person or a person dies on their own terms, they will be reincarnated into a completely different person. The same applies to Pucci.

Jolyne and the others were killed, so they were reincarnated into something that wasn't truly the ones we've seen from the past.

Emporio killed Pucci, and that erased his existence and any of his previous influences in the universe. That means that Pucci's influence doesn't impact Jotaro and Jolyne's life. Now Jolyne is Irene, and she is now free from the Joestar curse, as everything from DIO is now completely gone.

It improves drastically in the second half but it is still monster of the week in nature. Watch a few more episodes and if it STILL isn't doing anything for you, skip ahead. Don't go right to DIO's World though, the fight just before that (Vanilla Ice) is great too so watch it as well. And Parts 4 onwards retain the length of Part 3 but are structured much more in line with 1-2. Also I'd recommend reading the manga at some point, the anime is a good adaptation and fine as a first exposure to the series but it's rather cheaply made and still doesn't match the source material.

Family issues and dynamics comes up a hell of a lot and you really see Araki's fascination with it.
I think yo me that's what makes the part 8 family so likeable. They feel very real with the subtle interactions and jokes. Even down to Joshu protecting Daiya, or the siblings joking about the hair, or both girls around their dad.
The family photo cover looks like one even down to the awkwardness.

Weekly chapters have to be paced differently and as Araki has said for WSJ you need to continually keep on building hype every chapter and it stifles a lot of potential for slower series. Also the pages in WSJ are like half the size of the UJ ones, art would suffer immensely as well.

The majority of the translation actually seems to be fro the French/Italian version as a base. I was doing a language comparison to try to explain why I prefer French Cioccolata, but the Russian has give or take) 1:1 with that. Including the removal of the "I love you" line.
I had an Italian talk with me through various panels. There's actually one panel where Cioccolata screams at Giorno that is willy translated differently in other languages. I keep missing Daxing ask him why that panel has so many variants. The Italian version adds him shouting his name, while the French version is him crying victory an the English is just "Back off."

I can see why do many people love this part the most. Side villains were great, the whole premise that Araki is evolving his writing and expanding on previous ideas. Only thing i didn't like was the Devil's Palm.
Valentine and Johnny got their stands through the hand and heart but the rest got it? I didn't understand the stipulation of awakening the stand. Pure willpower? Why didn't Gyro get a stand, or does infinite rotation count? Did the comet virus infect them without the arrow or something, people someone explain.
