Can lolis love shotas?
Still wondering who exactly Reg is.
Is he some kind of cyborg? He has mechanical elements, but his guts (and dick), and the rest of his non-mechanical body, are fully organic like in a typical human.
The manga needs to show more. So far he regained his memories when it comes to combat as it was shown with his fight with Bonedrew.
no, shotas are supposed to explore their sexuality on farm animals, just like we did in our youth
The character design reminds sorta reminds me of Ichigo Mashimaro.
Like lolis love their papa and viceversa
I'm guessing he's just some sort of synthetic lifeform, though that's pretty obvious.
The robot arms/legs might not be part of the initial design and were added later, though the torso is obviously designed to accomodate them.
I assume he's part of a race that are mechanical in structure but still have regular hominid brains and can probably breed normally with eachother just like an organic being - for all we know, they might be able to age.
Either a denizen of an older civilisation that was frozen in time, possibly from some slave or worker caste. I doubt he was made by anyone from that age.
Here's a high quality shot of the English Logo.
What do you think is at the very bottom of the Abyss?
This is very disrespectful and offensive towards the non-human monsters in the abyss. Their hard work has given us some of the best Riko suffering scenes in the story. We should appreciate it.
>They didn't make the preview section into a Kemono friends style Nanachi's trivia corner
Boys we are at 41
>meet best girl
>moments later end up with best girl stew
>party reaches bottom of the abyss
>they're all almost dead, riko is not longer human
>all the bosses are dead so there are no more obstacles
>in the middle there is only a single big button
>suddenly epic music starts playing
>"new abyss discovered"
Why are these threads are always full of retards who needs spoonfeeding?
>Translations exploded when the anime was announced, finally ceasing the incredible stalemate it was at for a long time
>First episode was well done, excluding the lack of showing naked hanging loli, and giving us a good idea of the quality to expect
>New chapter very, very soon
So this is the power of a cute rabbit.
I really hope to see some good scenery in anime. Exceptionally layer five and probably six, shit looked so rad on maps and current mess at idofront is kinda disappointing. I can't even tell where it is because nobody mentions depth.
>meet 3rd best girl
>she turns into a battery
>then she transforms into a necklace
>then she gets to go on an adventure
>first thing her bestie does is take a massive shit on an ancient elevator
In chapter 40, Reg will finally know how Nanachi feels like when he rubs her.
>Princess gets a proper introduction
>Speaks with very broken dialect; missing full words and parts of sentences, hard to understand. Think Chaika, but harder to understand.
>Takes an interest in Reg, abandons her giant mech
>Reg is now the top dog in town; nobody dares get close to him because Princess is with him
>Riko tries to greet Princess, gets ignored
>Nanachi tries greeting her, gets a death stare
>Reg asks Princess to be nice to his friends, and she complies without any opposition
>Princess gives Riko Prushka, who is now a properly carved whistle
>Princess holds her hands out to Riko afterwards, to which Riko takes her hands like some kind of hand shake
>Surprise, it wasn't a handshake; she was asking for compensation, and Riko "offered" her entire body as compensation.
>Chapter ends with Riko being taken away and Big Daddy stopping Reg from going after them
when reading the manga. where was the first time he rubs her?
i didnt notice it and at some point she just says the way he rubs her is lewd.
after re-reading it for 3 times i still cant see it being done or mentioned before that anywhere.
It's far more subtle at first, like he's just brushing against her or simply touching her in curiosity. Riko's still asleep at this point, I think. Reg just got really, REALLY fucking addicted to the fluffiness.
Suffering and the fanservice are never gratuitous, they all happen for a reason and make sense in context. That's why it's never bothered me, I just enjoyed whatever this manga offered because it was simply good.
It started in chapter 21, but yeah it didn’t feel all that lewd, but as others have said it goes both ways, Nanachi sometime overreacts with Reg
Should also mention it doesn't suddenly stop being light-hearted and funny when it wants to.
It's dark, but that also means dark humour.
It remembers that it's an adventure story at heart.
One of the many blessings of the abyss: big fat ass and wide hips to increase breeding performance.
This makes me so hyped. I'm going to read the manga once the anime is finished. Thank you, anons. I'm glad I saw so many Made in Abyss threads on /a/. It's why I picked the show up to begin with.
Am I admitting to trusting /a/'s taste? Absolutely.
The manga is still good regardless.
The anime is a very strong opening, and all it needs to do is be consistent and it should be great - if it really keeps it up all the way through it could end up being in the Top 10 of the decade.
>reg goes berserk against daddy
>nanachi stops him using the power of fluffiness
The boner is stronger than the mind
I don’t think so, sexual harassment at most
Have anyone seen this anime? Apparently Tsukushi worked on character designs. How is it?
The whole abyss kinda looks like a giant cannon to me.
Once every 2000 years it fires and civilization starts from the beginning.
Crack theory, but all this while we've been assuming that the abyss leads deep INTO the earth. But what if it is instead leading to the OUTSIDE of a planet, a la hollow earth conspiracies? The forcefield isn't a trap to keep delvers in the abyss, it's to keep things from getting into the world?
Stop posting that shitty version already.
How did that even get so popular with how crap it looks?
it's NOTHING like MiA. Tsukushi did the design work and nothing else.
That said, it is probably the ONLY children's anime I have ever liked. The ending is worth the occasional filler episode.
If nobody has been to the bottom of the abyss, how do they know how deep it is?
Literally Dante's Inferno
An Orphan going through hell to get to her parent
Dante going through hell to get to Beatrice
That being said only the two people that go in come out so RIP Rabbit.
I'm going to assume that the twist will be forgiveness with the mother being an abomination
Mistakes were made. Now shut up about it.
Which one would you say is the "coolest" looking panel of the manga, /a/?
You start getting affected by the curse if you go up like 10 meters right? What if in order to move around the abyss you need to go up a bit before you keep going down? Like a hill or something?
Probably a city with some weird architecture. This is just speculation because the author seems to love drawing atypical scenery, and it would explain Reg existing.
I didn't expect it to be like MiA anyway. So, it is good then? I think I'll give it a shot sometime.
Just finished reading the translated chapters. This was a wild ride.
I need the next chapter and episode right now
Moved from the six to the fifth layer of the abyss, got hit by the curse
It's setting the groundwork and getting the lore established, so that things make sense when it "picks up".
They actually get into the Abyss at the end of chapter 8, and chapter 9 on is their adventure.
Just enough to penetrate a standard loli's cervix to ensure impregnation.
>You've read the manga, so you should know.
I've never read the manga and have only seen a few images from previous threads while scrolling /a/. Watching the first episode yesterday is actually the first time I've consumed any of it.
Odds: read the manga now and participate in threads on /a/
Evens: stick with the anime and read the manga when it's over
I downloaded the first volume months ago and I never got around to it.
You know, at first it was
>awwww he likes the fluffyness
But then he gets a stiffy and im just worried Nanachi is constantly being touched in lewd ways without consent
>Most of the fluffyfied chracters so far have been topless
Bondrewd and the non-blessed end-results being the exceptions
>Even the ones with big tits for their age
>Reg has a cloak, but he's still pretty much shirtless
>The clothes that they DO wear are awesome as fuck
Why does the abyss unironically have the best fashion sense?
She may be cute and fluffy but Reg is the real treasure of the abyss, she should be ecstatic that she's one of the first in line to get her soft bunny paws on that hard shota penis.
>Most of the fluffified characters
So half? Because Mitty and Prushka's appearances are what-if scenarios, and as you said Bondrewd keeps his dashing coat. Nobody else has been turned into a stuffed animal. Mitty is a burnt rug and Prushka is a pebble.
I don't think you've seen the volume extras. I wanted to add, "conceptual/imaginary or otherwise" to the first one," but I thought I wouldn't need it. But I guess I was wrong.
Yeah Reg is in a slow but sure escalation, first it was simply petting the fluffy bunny, latter he started with the sniffing, now he is biting her, what will be his next stop?
Yeah, that might've helped out a wee bit. End Result fashion is definitely 10/10; topless or stylish, no in between.
Ever seen a show called Dororon Enma-kun? Same purpose here; keeps him from going berserk. A different kind of berserk from his fully charged one.
Mitty loved Nanachi to the point of willing to bear the entire brunt of the curse for her. Ascending from the 6th layer still gives you loss of humanity, but the abyss gave her a blessing.
What makes Nanachi so good is her matter-of-fact attitude. She had resigned herself to suicide once she freed Mitty, and so she takes everything in stride, since she's living on only because Reg made her promise to.
I love her so much.
Can't wait for the anime bringing in tons of quality Bonedude and Cozen fanart.
what did she mean by
>claws that can easily pierce metal
>extremely powerful body and what's practically precognition in the Abyss
She just has to get gainz like Bondrewd.
>reg rubs his eyes with his stump
this is simultaneously adorable and heartbreaking
does nanachi have rabbit legs or human legs? i can't tell
These two are too innocent for the abyss
The Tamaoguchi can easily puncture metal and it rammed like a dozen needles into Reg's belly button. It did nothing. But Bondrewd pierced Reg with his claw. Transitive property applies.
Is this one of those shows where all the character designs are cute to throw you off guard, & we watch the show & everything's normal, but then it turns out one of the kids really IS a killer robot, & the next episode starts with a loli impaled on a weathervane? Is that what this is /a/?
While I agree that the child nudity is pretty revolting (the torture and suffering is average), that guy is a tremendous cunt.
They didn't even bother to read the source material before posting their blogshit crap.
She appears to have digitigrade legs, which in the real world would make it very hard for her to walk bipedal given their proportions, but she's cute and has thicc thighs, so I'm going to assume the abyss worked out all the anatomical what-if's
Well she runs in all four, and it seems she is fast enough to keep up with Reg normal running speed, but no idea is she hops, maybe the anime can give a better idea
Could be, but it would make him very different from every single other narehate that we've seen, with the exception of the Big Daddy (that we're not even sure is a narehate). Additionally, he's equipped with Sparagmos, an artifact that a) Bondrewd also possessed and b) is not confirmed to be of narehate nature either.
>Finally get to reading through the manga up to chapter 36
>Liked Nanachi even before reading much of the manga
>Now have an excessive need to hug and pet Nanachi
I wasn't prepared for just how fluffy Nanachi truly is.
Love Bonedad too whom does seem to genuinely love all the children despite what he's done to them, or that's the impression I get seeing as he remembers all their names and dreams which is not something one would do if they just saw them as lab rats. All the gorgeous scenery and monsters in the manga makes me even more hyped for the upcoming anime episodes.
He's pretty much perfectly set up for a two-for-one waifu deal, since the three of them are attached at the hip by now and Riko is also so addicted to Nanachi's fluffiness that she really seems like she wouldn't mind sharing at all, so long as she can get a little bit of bisex tonguewrestling in with her while she's getting her sweet bunny puss pounded by their favorite relic.
He'd have to be insane not to take that deal considering how much he loves them both.
Then it would be extremely pleasurable afterwards, especially when they get filled up.
I think she probably has rabbit-like legs, or at least stands on her toes given what Bondrewd's transformation seems to have: >>159589407
I just remember someone saying in an earlier thread that she had human-like legs and it's been bugging me ever since
Reg breaks her arm because he was taught that you have to break it to cut the arm off. he was cutting her arm off because she was poisoned, and it would kill her if he let it spread to her vitals.
speedreader or anime-only, place your bets
>Is she gonna die
You can't die if you're already
I think it's more pointing out that she's surprisingly sturdy. That SHOULD have broken her little bones, but it didn't. Hard to break that which doesn't truly live. Otherwise, it's the wrong arm they're foreshadowing.
The show is always dark, there is no twist. The first episode had them almost get eaten by a giant snake monster so they could afford to stay in some shitty orphanage with a torture room. But there's still a childlike optimism through it all. For every page with gruesome and horrible things happening, there's a page of food porn.
It is said that the Japanese truck, the most lethal of all the beasts in the abyss, lurks at the bottom waiting for lolis to slam into.
This is exactlywhat makes the series good, imho. It doesn't try to manipulate the reader. Bad shit happens, and good shit happens. Just like in life.
It doesn't force a dark tone, or force the moments of levity.
It's refreshing for a series not to treat the reader like an idiot who can't decide how to feel about the events of a story, and let's us choose for ourselves.
As familiar with Uncle Go's work as anyone on /a/ should be, I've never actually looked into it. From what I can tell though we're looking at a perverted shota traveling with a sexy young girl he likes to lewd on adventures and seems to have a thing for any cute lolis in general. This based motherfucker, catering to my fetish almost two decades before I was even born.
It also looks to be the founding spiritual basis for similar magical comedy plots like Disgaea and such, just as Mazinger set the precedent for super mecha and Cutie Honey for Mahou Shoujo. Guess that's another one for the backlog.
It is a relic that does the impossible.
Makes him even cuter.
It will be later than 4.
Episode 2 will end with Riko reading Lyza's letter.
Episode 3 will end with Riko and Reg descending into the Abyss.
Episode 4 will end with Riko and Reg arriving at the Seeker Camp, and Ouzen commenting about their arrival as a tease.
Episode 5 will end with Ouzen and Reg about to fight.
Episode 6 will be Ouzen training Riko and Reg.
Hopefully not, the first episode was beautiful.
Just s-shut up and post it you b-baka
The one after that.
To be fair satan, she did end up sending him to gather up food ingredients along with the mushrooms and took advantage of his emotionally vulnerable state to keep him complacent. If he hadn't made it back in time just because of that she wouldn't have really cared if Riko died since she didn't even know her yet, would've just been another pile for the boneyard to her.
So far, I think there's three times where she's prominently topless.
Hanging naked in a flashback that the anime skipped, Nanachi stripping her to clean her clothes, and bathing with Reg's help
His reaction to that is the lewdest fucking page in the manga. Without proper context, at least.
There were also those anthologies things, but I’m no sure? Those things are official in any way?
Name 1 studio who can do this in justice, you can't. It's something exclusive to manga medium and needs a different approac in anime.
someone edit this into:
>It's cartridge time
And Prushka saying
>Yes, papa, yes.
Is this bad translation?
>I'm glad... things didn't turn out like this.
"things [aren't] like this" is logically inconsistent, it's like saying "blue is not blue". Also, "this" refers to something immediately present. "[the way] things turned out", i.e. the current situation, current circumstances, is by definition always immediately present, and "[the way] things didn't turn out", i.e. some hypothetical, alternate outcome, is by definition never immediately present. It should be "that".
It should be either:
>I'm glad... things turned out like this.
>I'm glad... things didn't turn out like that.
Yeah you can find it in the archive, or here >>159532839
My raw Zweihander is ready.
I've never had any desire to go to a con or do cosplay but seeing this really makes me want to make a Bonedrewd costume and visit some cons with it. If I could make something that transformed into his blessed form that would be awesome.
>Ozen thought the curse warding box was heavy
She has the strength of 120 men. How fucking heavy is that box?
She's probably not talking about the weight of the box, but the weight of the burden that she carried. You can be as strong as Superman ten times over, and still find something emotionally heavy.
Would Ozen be a good mother and wife?
>Ozen as a mother
I can see it now; she's in the second layer, and she's doing that thing where a parent lightly throws their kid in the air. "Upsie daisy!" she says, as her kid goes flying a couple dozen meters into the air and catching the burden. The husband would probably be freaking the fuck out.
She might not be a mother but she sure is a mentor, she was Lyza mentor, tried recruiting the orphanage leader but got rejected and currently has a pupil under her care (along with her own gang that she prolly trained herself)
what did he mean by this?
