Putting giant robots up against titans is often a bit of a mismatch.

A gundam is closer, but even then Amuro would be blazing through them with his beam rifle and sabers, even his head vulcans.

And even when it runs out of ammo its still entirely capable of ripping and tearing.

I just assumed Tokyo-3 was out of the picture so an Eva would even be involved. Those weapon emplacements waste taxpayer money on Angels but Eren would be shredded.

Before it was all giant laser beams and Spear of Longinus Angels could be taken down with "conventional" Eva-scale weapons, provided the Eva interfered with their AT Fields first. (or something) The spider Angel was killed with an assault rifle and at least a couple were stabbed.
