Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu S2 is the only real contender for me at the moment. I wouldn't be mad at Little Witch Academia or Maid Dragon being in there too though. Nothing from Spring even deserves to be in the conversation in my opinion. Fortunately there are still two more seasons and so far Summer has at least a couple promising shows.

Some good ones, but Tsuki redefined what I expect out of romance, especially from Japan. As I get older and older I keep thinking and telling myself I'll never be surprised again, but that story proved me wrong. It's my personal AotY so far. That said we're only in spring so anything can happen. It'll have to be a hell of a good anime to take the top spot now though.
