What's the problem with reading fast? It's not like the story is in any way complicated or unclear. Was I supposed to sit there and repeat every single side character's name to myself five times to make sure I understand down to the letter even though there was a never a point where you couldn't know who they are through context? I don't even understand how you could slow read this comic, it takes a second or two at the very most to understand what's going on in each panel and you'd have to be a brain dead retard to need to sit on the dialogue or reread it to understand it.

This is the second manga I've ever read and I picked it up because a friend introduced me to it. My goal wasn't to read it as fast as physically possible, it was to enjoy the story at my own pace. I read it at every available opportunity because the setting and characters were interesting and I genuinely enjoyed the story. I didn't know it was popular going into it, but I'm glad that it is because the writer deserves it. I don't think I have ever complained about a manga in my entire life. The closest I've come to having a problem with anything is that in the first one I read the black and white confused me sometimes, but in this one I had literally zero problem with that. I've had literally zero impact on the industry. Any post I have ever made about this manga is confined to this thread and I've been borderline shilling it to people who already like it. I've never read a bad manga so I have no idea what subpar even looks like.

I am interested in how speedreaders were able to fuck things up so badly. In my limited time posting on this board I always assumed it was just another buzzword insult like how /g/ calls people pajeets, /lit/ calls people pseuds and /sci/ calls people brainlets. Please elaborate if you aren't still pissed.
