I am going to miss this show. This "bonus" episode was great. It was so much fun. That secretary popping up every time was great. Haruna's face in the paper was great. Sandra was great.

OK, seen it. What a great ride this was, it just goes to show that if you drop the pretenses and just make a fun show, it transcends its limitations in writing/animation. I don't think I will forget this for any time soon. About the episode itself, it probably had the best fluid animation in the entire series, and it wrapped up both Haruna's and Miss x's character development in such a coherent and satisfying manner, that it blows most ''drama'' anime driven out there out of the water. What in the world was that? They really went all out with the final episode, it was like watching a show on a completely different level budget wise than the rest of the series. I was expecting it to be fun based on the previous Spring Tiger episode, but not like this. So many places where they would have usually cut corners had proper animation this time, and the artwork was the best it has ever been. To me this felt like the were making their best effort to sell a Springer anime, like they wanted to impress someone with it. It worked for me, that's for damn sure.

I didn't expect this episode to be so spectacular but they hit it right out of the park. The animation, the episode plot, everything. Haruna going full TORA could have been a little longer, like when Naoto showed The Third the SPIRIT OF A TRUE MAN but it was still excellent. The sakuga animator anon mentioned was definitely a huge part of it but even overall, it was a good episode. Even Haruna and Naoto's conversations were well done, especially that last cut before Tiger Mask W's match.

I'm really gonna miss this show. It had a few weak spots throughout but it stayed consistently entertaining and then the last arc and Spring Tiger finale were incredible.

Alternately you can try /wooo/'s streams which are free but choppy as fuck and full of insufferable memeing faggots. Any of the various watchwrestling incarnations might have stream or full videos a day or two after an event, but NJPW isn't as covered as the American promotions. It's actually a lot easier to follow than American wrestling because there's a lot less shows to keep up with and its not as story heavy. The two big events to watch out for are WrestleKingdom at the beginning of the year and the G1 Climax which is coming up soon.

Maybe it's my bias but Tiger Mask barely felt like the overarching plot was guiding it compared to Bone, and I honestly cared about the characters more, took the death flags more seriously, etc. Every time I thought a character was turning out badly they got development and it continually surprised me like that. The continuity with Phoenix bone near the end was icing on the cake after even the bad guys had distinct/fun personalities.

I enjoyed Tiger Mask but I don't think I'll remember everyone's names in a year's time (except Kevin. Nobody will forget Kevin), I'll think fondly of it but not with the same excitement. It's hard weighing it up when you like both things, but Bone was just more special to me.

Never underestimate Japanese children's shows. They do end of the world scenarios and terrorist subplots all the time. I would however warn you that if the Dragon bone speaking in ep 1 doesn't tickle the shounenfag in you it does take quite some eps til the character death moment that seems to hook people on its concept.

I was still catching up, I was sure it was 39 episodes so I thought I would make it on time for the final one. Got to 28, the Miracle Heels arc is kinda boring compared to the previous ones. Do I have much filler ahead?

Couple of random thoughts so far:
- I don't know why the idols episode is so badly regarded. It's pretty standard as far as filler for this show goes. The one with the Mexican lady and her retard son was many times worse.
- In the Hell in the Hole, was there even an incentive for wrestler to fight among each other? It seemed like everyone who got to the gate could leave. Odin was even defeated and a weapon was dropped for him, yet he still got the exit.
