I would argue that doing so would kill him or create a self defeating situation. In order for him to steal an ability the book has to be closed. If he steals the ability we don't know if it would dispel the current nen beast which would then dump Judgement chain back on him and without the ability to guarantee that the beast persists between theft and activation it could just mean that he would have Abengane's ability, but can't access it now that the chain is back on his heart.

And since the nen beast remains close too the user it would mean he has some form of monstrosity always by his side, which is a conjured beast so normal people can see it. And that would make being a thief a lot more difficult.

It's better that they just pay Abengane and put him somewhere safe until they can kill Kurapika.

It has enough variation in abilities that you can sort into a certain category, and every character has an ability which reflects their personality/childhood.

Its also one of the few fighting systems that doesn't try to balance everyone's abilities, and purposefully has some be stronger than others. However, most fights are decided by intelligence, quick thinking and proper utilisation of their abilities, thus improving the quality of the fight scenes.

You got the unknown element to it as well, as seen when it comes to emotions. So far we know Nen is strong enough to continue after death, and its clear extreme emotions are capable of incredible feats.

Then there's the vows and limitations which raises the stakes but gives characters better chances at beating their desired opponents.

By far the best, and nothing comes close to it.

Gon and Killua being just 1-2 years older and a little bigger at the start would look better while still not being significantly different and older enough to require changing how they act and how others perceive them just yet. They'd still be young kids that are fairly small but they'd have a slightly more fitting maturity and would look more natural with muscle that they develop.
