Look, I know /fit/ is such a cool place filled with awesome guys who are so swole and manly, but you can't listen to their advice about "cardio kills gains, bra" it's just not true. At least half of all exercise you do HAS to be cardio!

Protip: it does not matter WHAT you do for cardio so long as you
1) Warm up for 2-5 minutes, including stretching and mild motions
2) Keep you heartrate between 120-140 beats per minute
3) Perform that exercise for 40 minutes

The intensity of the exerice, at least initially, is completely irrelevant. Walking, jogging, doggy paddling, canoeing, homoerotic buttsex...I 100% guarantee your life will improve dramatically within weeks.

Almost the whole point of cardiovascular endurance exercise is to push what limits you safely so that you can push yourself harder for longer. And you are healthier at rest and capable in an emergency. It's also excellent for your flexibility, bone density, lung capacity, mental fatigue, endorphins and whatnot.

Do cardio, nimrod. Don't do it right after or right before your 5x5, try alternating days, but fuck off with "cardio kills gains" bullshit. That's like trying to tell me Arnie, Francu, Zane, Yates etc DON'T do cardio in order to get as big as they were. Nonsense. They did extreme amounts of cardio, it was essential to getting as lean and conditioned as they were. Their gains weren't small.

Eat big, lift big. Bike/Run/Swim when you're not lifting. Sleep a ton.

Just to be clear, "Cardio" is a shortened, catch-all name for exercises that focus on "cardiovascular" health. Cardiovascular refers to the heart and blood vessels.

Cardiovascular health is based on how powerful your heart (comprised entirely of smooth muscle tissue) can pump blood, how wide and clean (devoid of cholesterol and other blocking build-up) your blood vessels and arteries are. It's measured by heartbeats per minute, or BPM. Better cardiovascular health means having lower BPM both at rest and during exercise.

Cardiovascular health is improved by engaging in aerobic exercise for a long period of time (20+ minutes). Aerobic refers to "free" oxygen that your cardiovascular and respiratory systems can take and apply to organs and muscles WITHOUT deficit; inhaling and exhaling gives you adequate amounts of O2 for your exercise stress-level. Anaerobic refers to oxygen depletion from beyond the amount of O2 available in your system and can literally only be done in short bursts before your body shuts down in order to replenish the deficit supply.

Good aerobic exercises involve a BPM between 120-140 while avoiding pushing yourself too far, going into anaerobic states. Good aerobic exercises should also avoid too much physical burden on your body, such as your bones, joints and organs as well as keep you free from injury and easily performed. The best aerobic exercise is swimming as it meets all these criteria flawlessly while also encouraging deep and focused breathing and improving flexibility/range without impact. Jogging is the most common, and despite humans evolving specifically to run long distances, it can cause injury on ankles, knees and spine.

By improving cardiovascular health, you improve your body's ability to transfer oxygen and heal, as well as greatly increases stamina/endurance while conditioning muscle for prolonged and strenuous use for longer and longer periods of time. It is ESSENTIAL in bodybuilding in order to get huge.

Furthermore, "cardio" exercises work in tandem with "respiratory" exercises. Respiratory of course refers to respiration and your body's ability to take in, efficiently filter, store, and remove carbon dioxide (the "waste" product of used oxygen) via your lungs and associated organs/muscles (such as your diaphragm and interstitial muscles of the ribs/abdominals).

By doing cardio, you train your lungs to take in larger amounts of air all at once and at a faster rate. You also train your body to be able to hold onto that air supply as the the lungs filter out the oxygen from that air and diffuse it into the bloodstream. At the same time, the lungs will remove the carbon dioxide your working muscles are depositing into the bloodstream and allow it to be exhaled in larger amounts at a faster rate. Eventually, your lungs' capacity greatly increases, they become incredibly efficient at taking the most O2 out of inhaled air and pushing out the most CO2 from strained muscle, which in turn lets you work harder for longer at what seems to be the same or less stress as when you began. Continuing that snowball means your muscles get to work and grow at a faster rate thanks to lengthened workouts and faster recoveries.

Strict "lifting" allows noob gains only and leads to extremely low "plateaus" where you can't seem to progress anymore. It also results in losing that muscle tissue much faster when not in use, since the body doesn't recognize its daily, hourly, minute-to-minute value. As a result, many bodybuilder rely on chemicals to artificially replace the efficient function of extremely good cardiovascular/respiratory systems (and also grow beyond natural human capability). However, these "cheats" are exactly as they seem; less healthy (often hurtful) ways of quick growth without the system to maintain it and can lead to dependence, injury and other problems.

Live healthy lives, people. Lift weights 3x a week. Jog for 40 minutes 3x a week. Eat well, sleep well.

All this, of course, still works the muscles! You WILL get bigger and stronger via aerobic exercises, too!

The main difference between "aerobic" and "anaerobic" is how your muscles respond to demand:
Aerobic exercises train your body to use as much muscle tissue as efficiently as possible. It means you use all the muscle using the lowest possible amount of energy. This allows you to use that muscle (and all associated muscles) to perform exercises for a long amount of time. You will build muscle, too. The focus is using it well.
Anaerobic exercises train your body to use as much muscle tissue in the shortest amount of time possible in order to perform the movement with the maximum amount of power the muscle (and associated muscles) can exert. It means it will use all the energy and oxygen available RIGHT NOW, in in excess, in order to move instantly with tons of force. This requires lots of cooldown, but the focus is building muscle almost exclusively and the result is more powerful muscles.

As a secondary effect, aerobic bodies look lean but grow slowly. Anaerobic bodies look bloated but grow quickly. The relative strength of each body is actually quite similar, though explosive force is clearly in favor of anaerobically trained people. The key is to do both.

It's really only a supplement, in general it won't hurt you to over-indulge. Similarly, an excess amount is completely worthless since you can only do so much work in a day.

To answer your question, you can take up to 4 scoops daily. Which is pointless if you aren't already Mr. Olympia size.
BUT, you SHOULD only take 1-2 a day, as that's as much protein your body can really make use of (assuming you're also eating like a human and not starving your self or only drinking shakes). And to validate your fears, an overabundance of protein in your system, for many months-years, can lead to kidney stones and other mild cholesterol related build up in your arteries. But that's only for freaks who are leaving humanity behind taking 8 scoops a day for years.

But really I just do one serving of whey and a spoonful of creatine in a 8 oz milk shake either an hour before or right after I work out. Sometimes manga with no anime just don’t seem to get a lot of fanart, even if they're popular.

Trawl something on pixiv chronologically starting from the oldest, and looking at the dates you can often observe a pattern where something gets like a handful of pages worth of stuff over the course of a few years, then when the anime hits it explodes. And depending on how long running the manga is, it might die down after the anime ends.

For instance I just checked the Kakegurui tag and there's as much new stuff posted in just the day since the first ep aired as would pop up in couple weeks or so before. Which mind you isn't much since it's still just the first ep, time will tell.

Like any sport proper technique plays an important role in lifts. If you don't train using a full ROM you'll also be weaker doing a proper lift compared to someone who's trained correctly even if you're bigger. There's also a neural component to it as the actual neural innervation of muscle is important so that more muscle fibers can actually be properly recruited to do a lift. I'm sure you may have heard stories of people getting superhuman strength in life or death situations, it's sort of similar. Most of the time we don't fully recruit our muscles whenever we perform an activity. By training with compound lifts and what not you can better train your CNS to recruit what it needs to lift the weight. For the most part though as long as steroids aren't abused the bigger someone is the stronger they are it's just that size isn't everything either.
