Absolutely.
I only watched it for the first time last year and it was still a ton of fun.

I am actually rewatching this show. One of my favorite animes is Yuru Yuri and Sakura reminds me so much of Akari, though it may just be me.

Have you watched anything else by Clamp? Something like Angelic Layer is real good. The manga was done by Clamp and then Bones did the anime. Its a only 26 episodes so its not that much of a commitment. If anything it would get you in the mindset you need to watch Cardcaptors.

It does everything right.
Unless you dislike CLAMP and "love can overcome boundaries" then it's a great watch of consistently good animation and a great OST with romance and mahou shoujo elements.
