It's amazing how effective the anti-smoking campaign has been. It's so strong, that even in tv shows about characters from ethnic/economic groups that overwhelmingly smoke, the characters don't smoke (like with ghetto blacks in The Wire). A tv show will show somebody smoking crack before tobacco, unless it's a historical show.
