It's really capitalized on the push it got around the spider arc, which was the first arc that was really done well, I think. It ramped things up even more with this last arc, and it keeps getting better. This isn't the kind of shonen to have a longass arc that really rockets it into relevance, i. e. Chunin Exams or Soul Society, so it'll be tougher to break into the same tier as the big boys, it'll have to keep ramping up over the course of several arcs. But so far, I think it's on its way there, things are going really well, let's hope it keeps it up

Kohaku's love confession was apparently only a vow to cooperate in Senkuu's opinion and he gladly accepts fighting by her side to defeat Shishio.
Kohaku had some hot spring water with her for her sick sister, so Senkuu turns his pulley into a cart to transport it and they arrive in Kohaku's village which consists of 40 people.
Senkuu wonders where all these people came from.
Some kids are seen screaming to "Gold Wolf" and "Silver Wolf" (looks like they lead the village) that the village is being attacked and Senkuu guards Kohaku.
It turns out that the village has a law that doesn't allow strangers to enter their village.
Senkuu proceeds to make some soap bubbles with the soap and hot water he had.
Gold Wolf is afraid of the soap bubble and trusts his spear through it, Silver Wolf is deeply moved by the soap bubbles and tears up.
With the power of science he befriends the entire village and ends up with a declaration: 40-man Power obtained!

RobotXAutism seems to be getting rushed towards an early end IMO. Robo is amusing as a protagonist but it's too standard shounen IMO- if you want shounen golf stuff done right see King Golf.

That said, I do think they can trim down the amount of gag manga that fill the same roles so I'd throw out either Spring Weapon or Saiki and try to get a new Gintama (since Gintama has not been a gag manga in years but that is what built its audience)

Nothing else in the magazine is particularly bad right now though, but all series have bad arcs and some were fairly recently (like that whole witch arc in Black Clover was one of the worst arcs ever published in any series)

The only series I've never read in the magazine is Soma so that could very well be shit
